Why don’t we provide an online event insurance quote and buy service? We used to, but in our experience, we found that most users insured themselves incorrectly, rather than have you do all the work and make a mistake we prefer to speak to you, find out about your event and provide a quote in person that meets your requirements. Better safe than sorry. We can quote most types of events over the phone in a matter of minutes.

Event Equipment Insurance

The term: Event equipment can relate to all sorts of things. Event equipment ranges from some sound and lighting equipment worth £10,000 to a large marquee worth over £100,000. If you have hired in some equipment for your event and need to insure it against theft and damage then look no further. We have various policies tailored to suit your needs.

We can insure up to £20,000 equipment on our in-house event insurance facility.  Your insurance documents are subsequently issued and emailed over to you normally within an hour or two. For anything above this amount we can provide an indication over the phone for anything up to £250,000. If you wish to proceed we would just need to refer it over to our underwriters and await acceptance. If your event is happening soon and your equipment is of high value then don’t delay in contacting us for a quotation!

Tailor-made Event Equipment Insurance

Our policies are not just designed to cover hired or leased equipment. Items which you personally own can also be covered too. Gadgets such as laptops, I Pads and tablets would normally be insured under an all risk section of your home insurance or a gadget insurance policy but if this is not the case then we can look to insure the items under one of our policies whilst they are in use at your event.

In order to provide a quotation we will require the following information from you:

  • Breakdown of the items to be insured?
  • What is the total valuation of the items?
  • What is the maximum value of any one individual item?
  • Dates which you require cover for the items?
  • Where will the equipment be stored when not in use and what are the security arrangements during the event/overnight?
