If you already hold a car boot insurance policy, before proceeding with your event we would advise you to check that your insurance policy does not include an 'all exhibitors must have their own public liability cover' endorsement. If it does then each of your pitch holders will have to provide evidence of their own public liability insurance cover otherwise this may invalidate your policy as the organiser.

We can also arrange liability insurance cover for individual car boot sale pitch holders who would prefer to safeguard their own liabilities by choice or have been requested to arrange cover by their car boot sale organiser. We can offer limits of indemnity from £1,000,000 through to £10,000,000.

If you are employing people or have volunteers to assist with the running of your car boot event you may be required to have adequate employers liability insurance cover which will provide legal liability protection in the event of an accident to one of your helpers/assistants or employees.
