Boxing Event Insurance
Boxing promoter liability insurance for organisers of boxing promotions, boxing events & white collar boxing promotions which include amateur and professional competitive and non-competitive promotions.
Most venues or hired facilities now require evidence of an organisers own public liability insurance cover before allowing use of their facilities. Your choice of venue whether it be a sports facility, night club or town hall should have its own public liability insurance in place to protect them in the event of an injury caused to the public as a result of their negligence such as a trip over a piece of badly fitted carpet or other maintenance issue. However the venue will require any outside contractors (anybody organising an event on their property or using their property for the purposes of a public gathering) to have their own cover to protect themselves against injury to the public that isn't the fault of the venue operator.
What does Boxing Event Insurance Cover?
A boxing insurance (event) policy provides public liability protection against any upheld claims of negligence on the part of the organiser for damages to or injury to third parties at the event. Most local authority venues, schools, nightclubs and function facilities now require a minimum indemnity limit of £5,000,000. Check with your venue before purchasing cover that it meets with their requirements.
The policy can extend to include event cancellation insurance cover and property cover for promoters belongings and equipment used at the event.
